Plugs and Sockets
A wide range of thermocouple plugs and sockets are carried ex. stock in both standard and mini sizes. Carrying High Temperature and Panel Mounting connectors, in addition to the common Types K, J and R, means we can supply any thermocouple plug or socket you may require.
Cable & Wiring
Available in Type K, J, S, R, T, N and B, we carry a large range of solid and stranded core thermocouple wire. With our cable cut to order we can meet both large and small orders. Combined with our range of thermocouple connectors we can build wire probes and extension leads specific to your application.
HEASTERN Industries has announced a range of temperature thermocouple connectors in standard and miniature sizes. Both are available in high temperature (650degC) ceramic constructions, fibre-glass filled polyester (380degC), or ABS plastic to 160degC continuous operation.
The use of thermocouple connectors of an appropriate alloy material eliminates any measurement error due to interconnection mismatches or uncompensated cold-junctions
HEASTERN Industries has announced an extensive new range of thin film platinum resistance temperature detectors (PT100s) made in Europe.
There are essentially three basic forms of platinum RTD construction;
Thin film on a ceramic,
Ceramic wire wound tubular, or
Glass wire wound tubular.
Platinum is used in these RTD temperature sensors, as it is best suited for precise temperature measurement in preference to other metals and alloys, due to its chemical inertness.
